Valentine published a large number of post cards of Hertfordshire. Not only are most of their cards numbered but they published many of the cards in different formats at different dates. Triggered by a request of high resolution images of several of the post cards of
Hemel Hempstead I decided to produce high resolution scans of all the
Valentine cards of
Hemel Hempstead and district (
Apsley,
Boxmoor and
Bovingdon) I currently have (see
menu of all cards added), together with details of their backs. This has been done on an experimental basis and there is no plan to extend this to all Valentine cards in the immediate future. However work has been scheduled to update the layout of the information on
Hemel Hempstead.
