
The Folly Methodist Chapel at Wheathampstead was demolished in 2006 and I can now report that the memorial windows have found a new home in St Albans Museum, thanks to the generosity of the person who found them,

There is a Wheathampstead War Memorial Project run by Terence and Margaret Pankhurst. It has been underway for 3-4 years and they and others have succeeded in identifying all those named on the local WWI memorials often with details of their war service and their families.
